1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FixNTread platform ("Platform"), operated by FixNTread ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including customers, tailors, and visitors.
2. Description of Service
FixNTread is a Canadian tailoring marketplace that connects customers with independent, vetted tailors for alterations, custom clothing, repairs, and related services. We facilitate the connection and provide tools for communication, order tracking, and payment processing. We are not a tailoring service provider and do not perform any tailoring work directly.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province, to use the Platform.
4. Tailor Vetting & Independence
Tailors apply and are reviewed before approval, but they are independent contractors — not employees or agents of FixNTread. We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any tailoring work. Any contract for services is between the customer and the tailor.
5. Payments & Deposits
Estimated pricing is generated from our pricing engine and may be adjusted by the tailor after review. A deposit (the greater of the configured percentage or the minimum amount) is collected before tailor matching. Payments are processed by our third-party provider; by paying you agree to their terms.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Deposit and refund eligibility depends on the stage of the order and the tailor’s policy. Contact support for assistance with disputes. We may mediate but are not obligated to issue refunds for completed work.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including posting unlawful content, attempting to bypass payments, harassing other users, or circumventing the matching system to avoid fees.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixNTread is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any tailoring services arranged through it.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
